Well so much has happened since we last posted! If you are on our social media you will know that we are active on both Facebook & Insta @Cityknits2 but we have rather neglected our blog!

A quick snapshot of the highlights over the last few months include Yarn Shop Day on Sat 6th May 2017 where the lovely Winwick Mum Christine Perry joined us in the shop and shared her sock knitting expertise with us, it was a fantastic day & Christine has such an enthusiasm that you can't help but get addicted to sock knitting! Maureen one of our regulars in the shop who has not knitted socks for over 50 years (Since she was a little girl at school!) is now churning them out for everyone!

Moving onto June, we had our annual Marie Curie Tea Party on Sat 10th June. This also co-incided with World Wide Knit in Public Day. As usual we had a great turnout & as well as raising lots of £'s for Marie Curie, we also produced lots of squares that will be turned into blankets for local charities!i

As you can see it was a fab day & the exciting news was that we also launched our EXCLUSIVE Marie Curie Yarn - but there is so much to tell you about this that we will write a blog post all about it!
